What is Reiki?
Reiki is beyond words, you get to know it through experience, and no explanation does this amazing technology justice. The word Reiki (pronounced ray - key) is Japanese. It is the made up of two words 'Rei' which means universal, in the sense of everywhere and everything, and also 'Ki' which means the vital life force or divine spark within every living thing, like the Indian 'prana' or the Chinese 'chi'. This force creates and sustains everything in existence and can be used to transform and recreate. Reiki can be translated as 'spiritually guided life energy'. Reiki is also the descriptive name for the Usui art of Natural Healing which was discovered and developed about one hundred years ago in Japan through the dedication and experience of Dr Mikao Usui.
Usui Reiki is a simple to learn and an easy to practise way of experiencing Reiki energy in your daily life. Using it will restore health and harmony to the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Reiki is also a powerful transformational tool, promoting expansion into a new level of awareness and being.
Who can Benefit from Reiki?
Simply put everyone who needs to relax, reduce the stress in their lives or recover from an illness. It its powerful yet gentle and allows you some really good quality time for yourself.
It is beneficial to anyone who wishes to change in some way, and who accepts that, although others can help, ultimately we are each responsible for our own healing and transformation. Reiki gives you the awareness, courage and ability to change what can be, plus the wisdom to understand and accept what cannot.

How You can experience Reiki
One to One Therapy Session
Book an appointment to experience Reiki for yourself, which is an amazing experience. The Practitioner will take your details and check a brief medical history, they will give you a brief outline to what a treatment involves. Then you are settled fully clothed onto a treatment coach and make comfortable under a blanket to keep warm. There will probably be relaxing music playing in the background and all you need to do is close your eyes and relax. The practitioner will give you some time following your experience to share what you felt about it and answer any questions you may have.
Reiki Share Evenings
These evenings are an excellent way to experience Reiki for the first time. You don’t need any experience to come along and see what it’s all about.
We actively encourage our practitioners to host Reiki shares in their local area as a way of networking for all, so that they may continue to gain experience with Reiki. Giving, as well as receiving, Reiki is a joy and an experience not to be missed.
Evening usually start at 7.30pm and complete approximately at 10pm. These are great evenings of relaxation, learning and sharing with like minded people... so come along and have a cuppa and chat.
Reiki Courses
Reiki Level One
Duration: 2 days.
Cost: £ 200

Prerequisites: None.
Reiki One is a wonderful introduction to this amazing healing therapy. Prior to starting the course you will receive some pre-course reading which will help you understand the background to Reiki. During the weekend you will learn how to complete self-healing treatments and how to treat friends and family. The weekends are set up so that you will gain a lot of 'hands on' experience with Reiki Energy as well as the theory that sits behind it. You will receive four Reiki attunements during the course, which will help to establish a channel by which you will be able to channel Reiki. A Mentor is assigned to each participant so they have someone to contact after the course, for on-going support. A file and all supporting documentation is supplied, along with a post-course workbook, which is given to help re-enforce the learning that took place during the course.

So Why Choose Residential Courses
With Residential Courses you are able to leave your every day life behind and concentrate on yourself and the Reiki experience you are having.
Ariival time is on Friday evening in time to settle in and have an evening meal. Following the meal we go into the classroom for an hour session before relaxing for the evening.
There will be an opportunity to take part in a mediation and healing sounds before breakfast on Saturday and Sunday (optional) and a classroom session on Saturday evening.
The groups are kept small for a supportive and nuturing experience
Reiki Level Two (Practitioner)
Duration: 3 days, 2 days followed up by a 3rd 4-6 weeks later.

Day One & Two
Reiki Two is a deepening of your knowledge and experience in Reiki which enables you to learn the art of 'distance healing'. Prior to the course you will receive some pre-course reading. During the weekend you will learn three of the Reiki Symbols and gain experience in their uses. We will show you how you can use them in your daily life and practice. You will receive two Reiki attunements. All supporting documentation is supplied, along with a post-course workbook, which is given to help re-enforce the learning that took place during the course.
Objectives
Each student will:
- Deepen their knowledge and experience of Reiki
- Be able to send Distance Healing
- Be able to draw the three Reiki Symbols
- Be able to describe how to use each symbol
- Apply the symbols in their daily life and Reiki practice
- Gain experience using the symbols in different situations
- Be able to clear a room energetically
- Be able to prepare a room for a one-to-one session or a Reiki Share
- Be able to cleanse and energise crystals

Day Three
To prepare for the third day of Reiki Two you will be asked to prepare a Vision for your Reiki Practice. The third day of Reiki Two, which is held 4-6 weeks following the weekend course is all about being a Reiki Practitioner and how to create a successful practice. It is an interactive, dynamic day taught by experienced trainers who run successful practices of their own. This day will provide a step-by-step guide, which will lead to you being able to develop your own busy and successful practice in a fun and exciting way.

Each student will:

- Have an experience of taking a case
- Understand how to plan appointment times and list the criteria on which to decide the optimum frequency of treatments

The Reiki Three Pathway is made up of five component parts, however if you have studied Reiki One and Reiki Two with us you will not need to complete the Best Practice Course as you will have covered this content during the Reiki Two Training. The other four components guide you through skills and techniques that you will find invaluable as you move towards completing Reiki Mastership and raising your vibration to this new level. Each is designed as a complete course with its own documentation and post-course workbook, which is given to help re-enforce the learning that took place during the weekend. All component parts must be completed prior to applying to undertake Reiki Mastership/Teacher training with us.

Reiki Mastership Training
Reiki Mastership Training with us consists of two parts: Advanced Energy Techniques and Reiki Master/Teacher. Each part are unique trainings of very high standard which will prepare you for the responsibility of this new way of Being. This training should not be taken lightly and therefore you will need to apply and be interviewed before being accepted onto this course. Once you have successfully completed this course, and the post-grad experience, you are entitled to apply for a teaching position with us and enjoy the benefits of being on the teaching team.
